Wired Security Systems
The best security - Wired Systems allow for complete property coverage and continuous 24/7 recording. So if you're looking for professional security and don't mind running cables, then a wired system is for you.
There are two kinds of Wired Systems to choose from:
IP Systems
Digital IP Systems are the most technologically advanced. Smart IP Cameras capture video data (and audio if available) and then process and encode that data for quick network transmission back to a Network Video Recorder (NVR). IP Cameras do not need to be plugged into an electrical outlet as they receive power over the ethernet cable (Power-over-Ethernet), which gives them a fair amount of flexibility when it comes to installation.
Analog Systems
Analog Security Systems are a more economical choice for continuous 24/7 recording. Analog Security Cameras capture raw analog video (and audio if available) and send the data to a Digital Video Recorder (DVR) for encoding and storage. Wired Analog Cameras are connected to the DVR with a Siamese BNC cable. This cable combines two different cables in one: one for data, one for power. This allows you to connect the power for Analog Cameras close by to the DVR, rather than near the camera itself.
Why Choose A Wired System?
Ultimate Reliability
Don't miss a moment. A wired connection allows cameras to record around-the-clock to a secure local hard drive.
Best Evidence
A wired connection allows for faster data transfer, allowing for higher resolutions and higher frame-rates.
Most Coverage
Wired systems are built to cover every angle. Recorders come in 8, 16, and 32-channel configurations.
Largest Hard Drive Capacity
Every recorder includes a large security grade hard drive built to meet the demands of continuous use. Hard drives can also be easily upgraded to larger sizes - some NVRs even include two hard drive bays for up to 20TB of data storage.
Top Features
Along with the highest quality video, wired systems also have the smartest motion detection and the best night vision. Recorders also have a myriad of features and options to help you maximize your security experience.
Highest Durability
Wired cameras offer the highest weatherproof ratings, ensuring year-round performance for years and years. Sturdy metal exteriors also provide additional protection against the elements and vandalism.
